Position Summary

The City of Williams Lake is situated in the Cariboo Region of the Central Interior of BC. It is the largest urban centre between Kamloops and Prince George with population of approximately 11,000 in city limits and immediate service area of over 25,000. In the midst of Williams Lake, overlooking the scenic valley with nature abounding, is the Cariboo Memorial Hospital and Long Term Care Home of Deni House.

Cariboo Memorial Hospital is inviting its next Physiotherapist to come and join its cohesive Rehabilitation Team. We are seeking a Physiotherapist for an Acute Care opportunity to support rehabilitation services in both inpatient and outpatient focus. This position may be combined with a permanent, part-time post (competition 1200710) available with Deni House. The combined roles offer 30 hours per week on a permanent basis. Days of work will consist of Tuesdays through Fridays.

Cariboo Memorial Hospital and Health Centre is a Community hospital with 28 inpatient beds, offering ER, ICU, OR, med-surg, and obstetrical units. Lab and diagnostic imaging on site; outpatient hemodialysis unit operated on-site. Long term care beds are embedded within med-surg unit on second floor of hospital. Deni House Long Term Care facility is adjacent to Cariboo Memorial Hospital and embodies a resident–centred philosophy designed to support occupants’ choices, help people function at their highest level and provide the best quality of life possible. Deni House has thirteen private and five 3-bed rooms. Nine of the beds are designated as short stay, including two palliative suites.
