The Medical Imaging team at Vernon Jubilee Hospital has an MRI Technologist vacancy within their team. In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the position promotes a safe environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff. Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures. This position is responsible for assisting the Radiologists during procedures, inputting patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and providing direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees. This is a casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements may vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week. Once hired into a casual role, employees are eligible to apply for internal postings including permanent part-time or full time positions. Qualifications |
Graduate of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging program. Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). |
