We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurses LPNs to join our acute surgical team at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH). The ideal practical nurse applicant will bring a proven ability and enthusiasm for providing high quality practical nursing skills and compassionate patient centered care within a busy surgical inpatient department.
As the Licensed Practical Nurse you will work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team performing assessments and planning, implementing and providing personal and nursing care to patients. You will also administer oral, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.
VJH is a growing facility offering core physician specialties, 24 hour emergency and trauma services, acute and obstetrical care. With a great team environment from Nurses to administration to Physicians and support staff; everyone works together with a patient-centered focus.

Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses.
Current full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
Current CPR certification required
