We are seeking Physiotherapists for Casual employment to help cover planned leave, absences and workload in the Interior Health worksites located in Nelson, Castlegar, Trail and Grand Forks. We provide services in acute care, community and long term care facilities. Our patient populations are diverse and include medical, neurological, orthopedic, geriatric and some pediatric. We are a great team supporting each other and working collaboratively for best patient outcomes.
We are seeking Physiotherapists with expertise of working independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team and with the knowledge and ability to carry out assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers. The goal is to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. Rehabilitation Assistant support accompanies this position.

Casual employment means there are no guarantee of hours and work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week. Casual employees receive 12.6 percent of straight time pay, exclusive of all premiums, in lieu of scheduled vacations and statutory holidays. Upon completion of 180 hours, Casual employees have the option of purchasing medical, dental and extended health benefit plans.
• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• Valid Driver’s License
