We are seeking to hire a Therapy Assistant for a temporary, part time opportunity. This position offers time in both Long Term Care and Acute Care. The overall goal for the Therapy Assistant is to carry out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs with Residents and assisting the Therapist(s) in monitoring and evaluating patients’ progression. Days of work are Tuesdays through Fridays (08:00 to 16:00 hours). Return of incumbent is approximately October 2019.
This role offers:
• Supporting residents at Ridgewood Lodge to perform exercises and walking programs as well as time spent supporting the Therapist(s) in treating Acute patients in the Princeton General Hospital next door.
• Involvement in Rehab programs and a multi-disciplinary team approach to care.

Education, Training and Experience:
* Completion of a recognized, two year, Therapy Assistant Diploma Program.
* Valid Driver’s License
