Position Summary

We are currently seeking a casual Long-Term Care Nurse to join our team at Ridgewood Lodge in Princeton.

The RN or RPN practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the RN or RPN ensures the delivery of resident–centered care by assisting individual residents and their families respond to changing health care needs. The RN or RPN demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.

Ridgewood Lodge has 37 private and semi-private rooms with ensuite washrooms. It is a one-level facility located adjacent to the Princeton General Hospital. Shift times are days; 08:00 to 16:00.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).

• Post - basic education in gerontology an asset.
