We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Registered Nurse with recognized dialysis training and recent experience in renal nursing, to join our growing team at the Penticton Regional Hospital. Reporting to the Manager of Renal Services, the Registered Nurse Hemodialysis provides nursing care and support to individuals and families in the community who are living with chronic kidney disease or kidney related problems that require hemodialysis treatment.
The primary responsibilities of this position are the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in a primary care setting. Working in collaboration with the wider interdisciplinary team, you will ensure the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.
This is a casual position which means shift times may vary and are not guaranteed. Nurses in this department work day shifts 06:30-18:30 and 07:00-19:00.

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) as a Registered Nurse.
Completion of a recognized nephrology nursing certificate program plus two years recent related general duty nursing experience; OR completion of a recognized nephrology nursing certificate program plus one year recent related critical care nursing experience; OR one year recent related hemodialysis nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current BCLS certification required.
Valid BC Driver’s License required.
