The Penticton Regional Hospital Lab has a permanent full-time Evening Supervisor, Medical Lab Tech Grade 3 position available.
This Evening Supervisor MLT position is responsible for supervising Laboratory operations during the evening shift and liaising with night staff to ensure appropriate services are provided during shifts. The Evening Supervisor also performs routine and specialized procedures in Core disciplines and other sections of the laboratory as required.
Days of work are rotating and shift times are 1500-2300. Medical Laboratory Technologist with current certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and eligible for membership with the BC Society of Laboratory Sciences (BCSLS).
Minimum three years’ recent experience as a general duty technologist in a medical laboratory.
Supervisory and related technical continuing education courses.
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable to the facility.
