Position Summary |
We are seeking an Emergency Nurse to join our high functioning and supportive Emergency team at Penticton Regional Hospital. We are looking for someone who brings effective problem solving skills, is highly motivated, and can work well in a team environment. Our Emergency Department receives 40,000+ patient visits per year, and operates 24/7. The RNs work 12-hour shifts. The ER is currently being expanded with associated FTE increases that will result in a brand new department opening June of 2022 Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) is a referral centre for three community hospitals and one diagnostic centre in the South Okanagan. We have an operating capacity of 149 acute beds and 102 extended care beds and offer a full range of services. Excellent benefits! Opportunity to maximize your skills! Qualifications |
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Advanced preparation in an Emergency clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years. ACLS and/or TNCC would be an asset. |
