Several years ago this site was selected to be a pilot site for the implementation of the electronic Meditech Charting System, Advanced Clinicals. Since then we have been a paperless ward, and one of the few who have been able to achieve it in Canada and North America. Nursing and multidisciplinary notes, medication administration, and physicians’ orders are done electronically. Today, we are seen as a leader in this technology.
Oliver is located in a picturesque valley of orchards, vineyards, lakes and waterways, in the heart of south central British Columbia. Home to more than 10 local wineries, it is known as “The Capital of Wine Country”. With its mild climate, relaxed lifestyle and scenic surroundings, Oliver is a wonderful residential location to call home. Recreational opportunities in the area include hiking, cycling, canoeing, fishing and skiing.
At SOGH, there is a strong commitment toward staff development and encouraging growth. Teamwork is an essential component of our daily activities. Apply today to grow, develop and become a part of this amazing team!
