Located in one of BC’s most picturesque communities – Oliver, BC - the South Okanagan General Hospital (SOGH) is an active rural hospital serving the communities of Oliver, Osoyoos, and surrounding areas.
Here is an opportunity available for a Physiotherapist who is seeking part time employment within the public health field. This position works in a Home and Community Care capacity serving both Oliver and Osoyoos. The days are set as Monday to Thursday, but the hours are flexible. The caseload is varied and mostly orthopedic and geriatric.
As the Physiotherapist you will join Home and Community Care Rehab Team with one full time rehabilitation assistant and one part time Occupational Therapist.
The team works closely with other members of the Home Community Care Team in the Oliver and the Osoyoos health units as well as with the SOGH rehab staff, where the main Rehab Department and office is located.
This is a temporary appointment until the return of the incumbent November 2019 and is eligible for Interior Health’s health benefit package and option to enrol in the Pension Plan.
This position is eligible for a loan forgiveness program through the BC Provincial Government. Physical Therapy is an eligible profession that can take advantage of this program.
