This Physiotherapy community rehab position receives referrals from the South Okanagan General Hospital to assist clients in the transition from hospital to home. Rehab therapy will be with clients in their own homes in collaboration with Occupational Therapy.
This is a temporary relief, part time position until the return of incumbent October 2019, and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits plan that includes coverage for basic Medical Services, Dental Services, and Extended Health. Local travel is required in this role within the communities of Oliver and Osoyoos. Access to personal vehicle may be required when an Interior Health vehicle is not readily available.
Join a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team in providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. Contribute to the organization and the overall goals of the profession, department; participate in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education; and provide work direction to the rehabilitation assistant working with the rehabilitation team.

• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• Valid BC Driver’s license.
