St Bartholomew’s Hospital is a community hospital and provides services in emergency care, lab, x-ray, mental health, home health and public health. Our emergency has two beds including one trauma bay and we are staffed by one RN and one physician.
Accommodation is provided onsite and includes a kitchen and laundry.
This casual position covers the hours of 09:00-2100 with on-call from 2100-0900.
Lytton is one of the oldest continuously settled communities in North America and known as the Rafting Capital of Canada. For those seeking tamer activities, excellent hiking, camping and river or lake fishing are all available within close proximity to the town. Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of emergency or Rural ED course with emergency nursing experience and strong clinical skills.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.
