Position Summary

Lytton community health centre is seeking a permanent CLXT to join their team!

Consistently one of the warmest climates in Canada, Lytton’s vibrant community is situated in a breathtaking “four seasons” playground that offers a wide range of activities and strong cultural roots; within a 3hr drive northeast of Vancouver.

As the Combined Lab X-ray Technologist, you will interact with health centre clients and health care professionals to perform, monitor and record a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards. The CLXT carries out routine and preventative maintenance of cardiac, laboratory and radiological equipment and trouble shoots related problems as required.

This is a 0.7fte permanent position which is eligible for our comprehensive benefits plan and relocation assistance. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 09:00-15:16 with an expectation for out of hours and weekend on-call coverage.

Qualifications

Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program. Eligible for registration with a provincial licensing body. One year of general experience in both laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
