Do you consider yourself a seasoned and resilient Mental Health nurse with excellent communication and team skills? If so, then consider working with our Mental Health team where everyone is valued within a multi-disciplinary team environment! Who are we looking for? We currently have casual opportunities for Rural & Remote Adult MH&SU Nurses available at the Lillooet Hospital & Health Centre in Lillooet, B.C. What will you work on? The Nurse works as an integral part of an integrated mental health and substance use service. The Nurse provides urgent outreach, responsive assessment and treatment, case management, GP shared care, education, and support to individuals experiencing acute and/or chronic mental illness and/or problem substance use. Shifts of work are of a casual nature and may be scheduled between Monday to Friday; 08:30 – 16:30 hours. How will you create an impact? Qualifications |
Education, Training and Experience: Graduation from an approved school of nursing. Two (2) years’ recent related experience in a mental health and substance use environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Current valid B.C. driver’s license. |
