If you are a Practical Nurse who strives to make a difference in people’s lives by caring for them with compassion, dignity and respect, Interior Health has a great opportunity for a Community Care Licensed Practical Nurse in Lillooet, B.C.
The Community Care Licensed Practical Nurse, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, performs assessments, plans, implements and provides personal and nursing care to clients. Administers oral, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.
This is a permanent part-time 0.50fte. Days of work are Tuesday to Thursday 08:00 to 15:30 and 08:00 to 14:30. • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses and one (1) year of recent, related acute care or long-term care experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) required.
• Current valid BC Driver’s License
