Position Summary

Registered Nurse, Oncology position now available at Kelowna General Hospital. If you are certified in chemotherapy administration and have a passion for the provision of excellent nursing care for oncology patients and their families; then apply today and join our awesome team!

As a member of our interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse - Oncology is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Registered Nurses are expected to demonstrate a specialized body of knowledge in addition to skills such as strong critical thinking, communication, advocacy and a commitment to high qulity, safe patient centered care.

This position is a permanent part-time 0.71fte opportunity. Shifts are rotating days, 07:00 to 19:00. This position offers competitive compensation, generous employer paid vacation and a range of benefits and employee services, to support you at every stage of your career.

Qualifications

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
Completion of a recognized post-basic program in Oncology nursing and two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Certification in administration of chemotherapeutic agents is required. Please upload a copy of your certificate along with your resume.
