Position Summary

An exciting nursing opportunity is available at Kelowna General Hospital working with recovering C-Sections and working in pre-surgical screening clinic.

This casual will work 8 hours day shifts. This nurse will start their day working with C-Sections and then go to the pre-surgical screening department to screen and prepare patients for surgical procedures.

Qualifications

Graduation as a Registered Nurse from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).

Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of the assigned area (perianesthesia or critical care nursing) and one year recent related clinical experience in the assigned practice environment on a post anesthetic room or critical care environment similar in size and scope to the facility or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
