Interior Health is seeking dynamic part time Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join our team providing comprehensive primary care in an established and welcoming environment to clients of Outreach Urban Health in Kelowna. This 0.6FTE position begins in June and is term specific for 12 months. Working alongside other NPs, contracted physicians and other members of the health care team, you will be providing full primary care to new and attached patients in need. The goals of these services are to: increase the availability and continuity of primary care services and provide holistic patient centred health care that is delivered in a culturally safe manner to a vulnerable and at risk population inclusive of sexual health, mental health and substance use, migrant workers, chronic conditions, and economic barriers.
• Current registration and exam-qualified as a Nurse Practitioner with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Successful completion of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)
• Recent, relevant clinical nursing experience
• Valid Driver’s License
