We are looking for a confident Shift Coordinator, Registered Nurse with a solid acute care leadership background to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. As the Shift Coordinator you are responsible for patient placement, bed utilization and staffing during weekends, evening and night shifts. You will act as a clinical resource to staff in resolving problems regarding patient care, staffing levels and bed utilization. You will be accountable for ensuring excellence in the provision of patient centered care throughout the hospital on assigned shifts.
This is a casual position. Days of work are rotating and shift times are 07:30-19:30 and 19:30-07:30. We are committed to staff development and encouraging growth. • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Three years’ recent related clinical experience.
• Two years’ recent supervisory experience in a complex health care environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current CPR certificate.
