Looking to make a difference in the lives of others in your community? If you are a self-starter who works well independently and on a team and has home health nursing experience, we have the opportunity for you to join our Community Care team!
As the Home Health nurse, you will support the client’s achievement of safe realistic and reasonable goals by assessing, planning, coordinating, organizing, implementing, evaluating and transitioning nursing and other care services for the client. Working in collaboration with the client, family and other care providers you will develop, implement and adapt a care plan, deliver direct care, assess service eligibility and provide care management to help clients manage their own care and navigate through the various services available within the community setting.
This scope of duties includes case management, palliative care, simple and complex wound care and nursing procedures. The primary worksite is Thomson Park Mall. Secondary sites may include Royal Inland Hospital, Ponderosa Lodge and North Hills Care Centre. Orientation is initially to time limited and continuous nursing programs, with orientation to other Home Health programs to follow.
Shift times are 08:00 to 16:00, 08:00 to 16:13, 08:00 to 16:22, 13:00 to 21:00, 11:00 to 19:00. These are days and evenings, rotating on a casual basis.

Graduation from an approved school of nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
Candidates must also hold a valid B.C. driver’s license.
