This position involves providing Physiotherapy Services to clients in their homes within the City of Kamloops’ South Shore and outlying community of Ashcroft.
We have a wonderful team of people in Home Health with a passion for their profession and providing client centered care. The Physiotherapist works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or caregiver to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.
The Physiotherapist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the profession and department and participates in departmental quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education. The Physiotherapist provides work direction to the rehabilitation assistant working with the rehabilitation team. Ongoing professional development is encouraged and valued.
Travel is involved in this role to provide clinical services to clients in their homes. A valid Driver’s License is necessary. Access to a personal vehicle is required. Days of work are Wednesdays and Thursdays with the occasional weekend. This position is to provide coverage until the return of the incumbent in January 2020.

• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
