Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team on a permanent part time basis (0.50 FTE) in Kamloops, B.C.
An opportunity exists to join a team of 6 NPs and 2 GPs to provide comprehensive all- ages primary health care services to over 7,000 patients in north Kamloops. Working autonomously and collaboratively with all members of the health team the NP will share a roster of approximately 650 patients. Established in April of 2017, meeting the attributes of the patient medical home/primary care home is a goal of the clinic. To meet the access needs of the community, the clinic operates with extended hours from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm weekdays and 8:00 am until 7:30 pm on Saturdays.

Education, Training and Experience:
• Current registration and exam-qualified as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC).
• Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
• Recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
*Provisional NPs, awaiting their Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) will be considered for positions.
