Position Summary

Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team on a permanent full time basis. This position is based out of the North Hills Care Centre.

This exciting opportunity allows you to partner with another NP to together provide primary care to a growing roster of frail seniors in a recently developed primary health care clinic. This clinic, housed within the Seniors Health & Wellness Center in Kamloops and co-located with a specialized inter-professional team whose collective aim is to enhance or maintain the health status and quality of life of older adults, is waiting for you in Kamloops, BC!

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner with experience working in Primary Care; brings great leadership, communication, and problem solving skills; and is an effective team member.

Shift types for this position are days; days of work are four extended days per week and shift times are from 08:00 to 18:00 hours.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience:

• Current registration and exam qualified as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC)
• Successful completion of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)
• Recent, relevant clinical nursing experience
• Valid Driver's License.
