Interior Health is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join Royal Inland Hospital’s Medical Imaging Department. Located in beautiful Kamloops’ BC, Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is a Tertiary Hospital providing high-level, specialty medical care.
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, the MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures, assists the Radiologists, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.
RIH’s Medical Imaging Department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This position’s schedule is days, evenings and nights on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. This position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits plan that includes coverage for basic Medical Services, Dental Services, and Extended Health.

• Graduate of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging program.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
• Must have working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
• Must have good teamwork and customer service skills.
