Interior Health is hiring casual Food Service Workers for Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC. If you hold a valid Food Safe certificate and have an open and flexible schedule to work days and evenings that include weekend shifts, then we want to hear from you! The right candidate(s) will have a flexible and reasonably open schedule to work rotating day shifts, including weekends. Hours of work: Rotating Day shifts from 06:30 to 14:30, 05:30 to 13:40, 07:20 to 15:30, 05:00 to 13:10, 06:45 to 14:55, 07:45 to 15:55, 11:45 to 19:55, 09:30 to 17:40, 12:00 to 16:30, 07:00 to 15:00 This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week. As a team player you will perform a variety of duties within a Food Service Operation such as: • Portioning and serving meals and beverages within a dining room and/or cafeteria operation; • Counts, weighs and/or measures ingredients for assigned food preparation area; • Washing and peeling vegetables and fruit; • Assembles beverages and food items - tea, coffee, sandwiches, salads, bag lunches, items for Meals on Wheels; • Washing dishes and utensils; • Setting up and delivering meal carts; • Cleaning of food service areas. • Clerical duties such as answering the telephone, filing, writing information on menu cards • Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications |
