Position Summary

If you have experience working in a Mental Health & Substance Use environment, we have a casual opportunity for you to join our team as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse - Mental Health & Substance Use in Grand Forks.

Working as part of an integrated mental health and substance use service, you will provide urgent outreach, responsive assessment and treatment, case management, GP shared care, education, and support to individuals experiencing acute and/or chronic mental illness and/or problem substance use.

Qualifications

Graduation from an approved school of nursing. Two years’ recent related MHSU experience in the assigned clinical area(s) (such as Adult Short Term Assessment and Treatment (ASTAT), Adult Community Support Services (ACSS), Urgent Response, Elderly Services, Alcohol & Drug, Developmental Disability Mental Health Services (DDMHS), etc.) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
Current valid B.C. driver’s license.
