Position Summary |
Relocate to Golden, B.C and surround yourself with nature! We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) to join our dynamic Lab team at the Golden District Hospital in Golden, BC. Golden District Hospital is a small 8-bed Hospital in the East Kootenay health service area. This Level 1 hospital offers services including surgical, inpatient, obstetrics and 24-hour emergency. Our acute care caseload is quite varied and we are a smaller STAT Lab, which allows for a great learning environment which is very supportive of less experienced techs. Our MLTs rotate through Chemistry, Hematology/Coag, Transfusion Medicine and the Manual bench, processing blood, urine, body fluids and CSFs on site. The small and friendly town of Golden is famous for its canyons, spectacular glaciers, craggy mountains and cascading Takakkaw Falls. Situated just a scenic 260km drive away from Calgary and nestled between Yoho and Glacier National parks and home to Kicking Horse Mountain resort, makes Golden the perfect jump-off point for extreme or more peaceful and relaxed outdoor pursuits. Interior Health strives to create an environment where you enjoy the work you do, the place where you work, and the people around you. Everyone plays a role in the care continuum. Together, we create great workplaces. |
