We are currently seeking casual Residential Nurses, Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Swan Valley Lodge in Creston, B.C.
The RN or RPN practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the RN or RPN ensures the delivery of resident–centered care by assisting individual residents and their families respond to changing health care needs. The RN or RPN demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.
Swan Valley Lodge located in Creston, embodies a resident-centered philosophy designed to support residents’ choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible. This facility is a 90 bed facility and includes a max of six respite/convalescent beds and a 23 bed dementia unit.
Rotating shift types are days and evenings and shift times are from 07:30 to 15:12, 15:00 to 23:00 hours.

Education, Training and Experience:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses’ of BC (CRPNBC).
• Post - basic education in gerontology an asset.
