We are looking for a confident Shift Coordinator Nurse with a solid acute care leadership background to join our team. As the Shift Coordinator you are responsible for patient placement, bed utilization and staffing during evenings and weekends. You will act as a clinical resource to staff in resolving problems regarding patient care, staffing levels and bed utilization. You are accountable for ensuring excellence in the provision of patient centered care throughout the hospital on assigned shift.
This is a permanent part time (0.84 FTE) position. The shift types are days, evenings. Shift times rotate from 13:30 to 21:30, 09:30 to 21:30 hours.

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
Three years’ recent related clinical experience and two years’ recent supervisory experience in a complex health care environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current CPR certificate.
