We are looking for a patient focused, team player to fill a casual Emergency Nursing position that we have within our small team in Chase. If you have emergency nursing experience and are ready for an adventure in a beautiful setting, this could be the opportunity for you.
Chase, otherwise known as “The Gateway to the Shuswap”, is located 56 kilometers east of Kamloops at the southern end of Little Shuswap Lake in the Thompson-Nicola region of BC’s Southern Interior. With the city of Kamloops nearby, Chase offers the advantages of small town living in close proximity to an urban centre with spectacular scenery including beaches, campsites, dock and boat launch facilities and Chase Falls.
The Registered Nurse practices in the clinical setting and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.
This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means that hours are not guaranteed and can vary from 0 -37.5 hours per week. Shifts available are Monday to Friday 0800 to 1600.

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
• Advanced preparation in an ED clinical specialty or Rural ED course or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.
