We are looking for a self-directed, motivated, reliable and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. As the Emergency Nurse you will practice in the clinical setting and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, you will ensure the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs. This is a permanent part time (0.50FTE) position that works rotating days, evenings and nights… 08:00 to 20:00, 20:00 to 08:00, 16:30 to 20:30, 08:00 to 16:00 Our benefits package include paid vacation, medical services plan, dental health coverage, pension plan and paid education days. Ashcroft Community Profile: Ashcroft and Cache Creek are small communities with one of the best climates in BC, having mild winters, and warm summers, with little precipitation. The mountains are only a few miles away. Skiing, hiking, fishing, swimming, and biking opportunities are within easy drives. While the health site is located in and named after the Ashcroft community (population 1,800), the Village of Cache Creek (population 1,200) is 10 km away. The site provides service to both communities and the surrounding area, a total population of approximately 7,000. |
Qualifications |
• Graduation as a Registered Nurse from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). • Advanced preparation in an emergency clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.
