The Remote Practice Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and core competencies for Remote Certified nursing and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP), as well as within a patient and family centered care model. The Remote Practice Registered Nurse is responsible for providing primary health care and emergency services to the identified community.
This position qualifies for a $10,000 rural signing bonus.
On-call evenings and weekends; work 4 weeks and 1 week off.

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
• BCCNP Remote Practice Certification is required to be considered for this position.
• Five years of broad base clinical experience in an outpost setting, a rural acute care setting or in community or public health, or an equivalent.
• Current valid BC Driver’s License.
