Position Summary
We are hiring registered Social Workers to join us at Hillside Centre and South Hills Tertiary Psychiatric Rehabilitation Centre.
Casual shifts may be available in a variety of health care and social work settings. Casual means that hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending upon operational needs. Shifts may be called out in advance and/or a short notice.
Days of Work: Rotating (varies as needed)
Shift times: 08:00 to 16:00; 08:30 to 16:30; 09:00 to 15:45
* Applicants must have the ability to participate in a full time Monday to Friday, 2-week orientation period.

About the position:
This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across Hillside Centre and South Hills Tertiary Psychiatric Rehabilitation Centre, two specialized mental health facilities dedicated to supporting adults with complex and persistent mental health needs. Working as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, you will build therapeutic relationships with patients and families, complete psychosocial assessments, provide counselling and advocacy, and help develop individualized care and discharge plans. You will play a key role in supporting recovery, promoting community reintegration, and connecting individuals with the resources and services they need to achieve their goals. This is a rewarding opportunity for a Social Worker who is passionate about patient-centered care, mental health recovery, and empowering individuals to reach their highest level of independence.

Qualifications
Masters Degree of Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work. One year’s recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers. Current valid BC Driver’s License.
