Position Summary
We are hiring a relief, part-time (0.63 FTE) Physiotherapist at Kelowna General Hospital (KGH). This position is expected to run until November 2026, or the return of the incumbent.
Days of work: Thursdays, Fridays, alternating Wednesdays. There is also a requirement to work one out of every four weekends.
Shift times: 07:30 to 15:30

About the position:
This position is primarily assigned to KGH 3E (vascular and plastic surgery), plus additional acute care units on the weekends or as needed. A Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.

Qualifications
Full licensure as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Valid B.C. Driver’s license required.
