Position Summary
Interior health is looking for a permanent full-time Team Leader (RN/RPN) to join the team at Harbour House, located in Trail, BC. The Team Leader provides clinical leadership, supervision, and support to multidisciplinary Mental Health and Substance Use teams while helping ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care.
Days of work: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00

About the role:
The Team Leader practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model.
The Team Leader provides line leadership, supervision, clinical support, service delivery level problem solving to multidisciplinary Mental Health and Addictions teams, and direct client care as required. The Team Leader works to deliver high quality, client focused programs across the continuum of community services and provides liaison to local agencies and other service providers.
In collaboration with the Manager (or designate), the Team Leader is also responsible for the planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of clinical practice to ensure quality client care outcomes.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Four years recent related experience in the clinical specialty of the assigned area, and one year recent experience in a leadership capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current valid BC driver’s license
