West Kelowna Public Health has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full time Administrative Services Assistant to join their team! This position works Monday to Friday day shift from 08:30 to 16:30 and there are two evening clinics held per month (10:15 to 1815).

What Will You Work On?
As an Administrative Services Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting community-based health programs by providing exceptional administrative, reception, and client service support. As the first point of contact for many clients and visitors, you'll help create a welcoming experience while coordinating appointments, responding to inquiries, preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining program records, and ensuring information is accurate and up to date. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will help keep daily operations running smoothly.
In addition to administrative responsibilities, you'll support clinical teams by maintaining medical and program supply inventories, preparing and cleaning equipment, and ensuring essential resources are readily available. Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to efficient service delivery while helping programs provide high-quality, client-centred care to the communities they serve.

Qualifications
Education, Training & Experience
• Grade 12,
• Certificate from a recognized office administration certificate program, plus
• One year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Ability to type at 40 nwpm
• Current valid BC Driver’s license is required
