Position Summary

We are hiring for Casual Physiotherapists for the Penticton Community team. This position may require driving and so a valid BC drivers license and access to a personal vehicle for work purposes is required. Casual means that hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending on the needs of the department.

Days of Work: weekdays as needed
Shift times/Hours of work: 08:00-16:00

About the role:
The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.

Qualifications

Full licensee as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
Valid BC Driver’s license required.
