Interior Health is hiring a Clinical Student to join the Pharmacy Technology Team in Kelowna, B.C.

What will you work on?
The student position will support various projects and tasks may include:
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist with various project requirements.
2. Consult with internal partners to acquire the necessary information.
3. Updating and organizing internal information management systems, including SharePoint, databases, internal webpages, and other systems.
4. Develop, update, and analyze information using Excel.
5. Prepare and submit correspondence and presentations as required.
6. Performing other related duties as required.
The tasks will require working both with a team and independently, while having support and supervision by a remote manager, mentor, or designate. You will work with a wide variety of people within the Clinical Programs portfolio (business directors and consultants, accountants, managers and front-line staff).
Salary Range:
Salary range for the position is $22.66 to $25.75. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.
Scheduling Information:
Days of work are Monday to Friday. Shift types are days, and shift times are from 08:00 to 16:00 hours.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
• Grade 12
• Enrolled in post-secondary program. Preference may be given to a student working towards a degree in Business Administration, Management or related field.
Skills and abilities:
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to deal with others effectively
• Ability to organize work
• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with SharePoint and/or webpage design would be an asset; ability to quickly learn computer programs and systems
• Strong computer skills
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
