We are hiring a Casual Speech-Language Pathologist for the Royal Inland Hospital. This position supports outpatient dysphagia, communication support and may also be required to for acute care coverage. Apply today and join our team!

About the position:
The Speech-Language Pathologist is an autonomous professional who has expertise in typical development and disorders of communication as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The Speech-Language Pathologist may work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with them for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research and education.

Qualifications

-Full practicing registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
-One year’s clinical experience with adults in a hospital setting and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
-Valid BC Driver’s license required.
