Days of work: Monday to Friday
Shift times: 08:30 to 16:30

About this position:
Casual shifts are available five days a week on an as needed basis. In this role, you’ll use your professional expertise and independent judgment while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to deliver meaningful occupational therapy in the acute care and long-term care settings. Guided CHCPBC standards, you’ll assess clients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribe equipment, and provide education and consultation to clients and their caregivers—all with the goal of supporting functional independence and optimal health outcomes. You’ll also play an active part in shaping programs, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, research, and education, while providing work direction to rehabilitation assistants to support safe and effective transfer of function.

Qualifications
Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program. Practicing licensee as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. Valid B.C. Driver’s license.
