About the Role
In accordance with the organization’s vision and values, the Adult Day Service Worker | Bus Driver supports clients within a client-centred care model. This role is responsible for assisting an assigned group of clients with daily programs and activities of daily living, while also providing safe and reliable transportation to and from the Adult Day Centre and organized community outings.
The responsibilities include participating in and supporting activation, life skills, recreational, and social activities, adapting programs to meet individual client needs. The role involves setting up and organizing program spaces and equipment, accompanying clients to activities, and monitoring participation, reporting any concerns or changes to the Program Supervisor. Assistance with activities of daily living such as feeding, transfers, toileting, bathing, grooming, and dressing is provided as required.

Qualifications
• Grade 12
• Completion of an Activity Assistant Program, and one-year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Food Safe certificate.
• Current valid BC Class 4 Driver’s License.
