Position Summary

We are hiring a Casual Physiotherapist for the Castlegar Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC).

Days of work: Varies as needed
Shifts times: 08:00 to 20:00

About this position: Kootenay Boundary Primary Care Network
The Castlegar Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) is a key access point within the Kootenay Boundary Primary Care Network, providing team‑based, non‑emergency care for individuals who need medical attention within 12–24 hours.

As a Physiotherapist at the Castlegar UPCC, you are an integral member of the interprofessional care team, working alongside nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, and physicians. You support patients with acute and sub‑acute musculoskeletal injuries, joint pain, movement limitations, and functional concerns, providing assessment, short‑term treatment, education, and self‑management strategies. Physiotherapy services play a critical role in improving function, supporting recovery, and helping prevent unnecessary emergency department visits.

Qualifications

Full licensure as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Valid B.C. Driver’s license where required.
