About Us:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker to become a valued member of our dedicated and supportive team at Overlander Extended Care. Located in Kamloops, B.C., our facility is committed to providing high-quality care, and we need an individual with expertise in trades duties to contribute to our mission.
Your Role:
As a Maintenance Worker V, you will perform trades duties approaching the journeyman level in areas such as electrical, plumbing, and painting, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. In addition to supervising Maintenance Workers and designated staff, you will construct and repair various items, including walls, doors, floors, ceilings, windows, furniture, cabinets, desks, tables, and shelves. Your responsibilities also encompass plastering, painting, and decorating for building renovations and general maintenance. Additionally, you'll conduct electrical and mechanical repairs to equipment, such as washers, dryers, and plant equipment.
Work Schedule:
This is a relief full-time position with Monday to Friday day shifts from 07:00 to 15:00.

Qualifications
• Grade 10
• Four years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
