Position Summary

We are hiring a permanent, part-time (0.78 FTE) Occupational Therapist for the Williams Lake Primary Care Hub.

Days of work: Monday to Thursday
Shift times: 08:00 to 15:00, 08:00 to 16:00

About this Position: Become an Occupational Therapist with Interior Health
The Williams Lake Primary Care Hub is a central part of the Central Interior Rural Primary Care Network, providing a collaborative, team-based approach to care. The interdisciplinary team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, a nurse care coordinator, social worker, mental health and substance use clinician, dietitian, clinical pharmacist, respiratory therapist, and exercise physiologist. The worksite is designed to support seamless coordination among providers, ensuring holistic, patient-centered care for residents of Williams Lake, 100 Mile House, and surrounding communities.

This role is ideal for someone who values flexibility, enjoys working in a supportive team environment, and is passionate about delivering client-centered care in a primary care setting. Three days per week are based in Williams Lake and one day per week is based in 100 Mile House.

As an Occupational Therapist, you work both independently and collaboratively within a primary care network team to deliver community‑based services. You complete assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, provide consultation, prescribe equipment, and deliver education to support clients and caregivers in achieving functional independence and optimal health outcomes. You also contribute to departmental goals by participating in quality improvement initiatives, research, and education.

Qualifications

Full practicing licensure as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. Valid BC Driver’s license.
