Cariboo Community Health Services has an exciting opportunity for a casual Program Support Assistant to join their team!

Your Role
As a Program Support Assistant, you play an important part in supporting Population Health programs through reliable, detail-oriented administrative work. In this role, you help keep the Environmental Public Health Program running smoothly by organizing and maintaining records, preparing file materials, triaging basic correspondence, and responding to routine inquiries in line with established guidelines. You’ll also support day-to-day office operations by performing basic word processing, preparing routine reports, and operating office equipment. Your commitment to accuracy, organization, and service helps ensure the team can focus on delivering essential public health services to communities across the region.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
• Grade 12, six months of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to type.
• Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
