Position Summary
Our Maintenance Department at Creston Valley Hospital is currently seeking a permanent full-time Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team. This position works Monday to Friday day shifts from 08:00 to 16:00 and requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license, as responsibilities include providing services to multiple Interior Health facilities.

Your Role:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of plant and maintenance services, guiding a skilled team of tradespeople and maintenance staff to keep our facilities operating safely and efficiently. You’ll coordinate work assignments, support staff development, and ensure projects meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Alongside your leadership duties, you’ll apply your own technical expertise—performing trades work at or approaching the journeyman level across multiple disciplines and ensuring equipment, systems, and preventative maintenance programs run smoothly. Your work will directly support the reliability, safety, and functionality of our facilities while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Qualifications
• Four (4) years recent related experience including two years in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification Certificate as carpenter, millwright, machinist, plumber, fitter or welder recognized by the Province of British Columbia.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
