About the Job
The Team Leader-Home Support:
• Coordinates Home Support Services by supervising Unregulated Care Providers (UCPs), overseeing the implementation of client care plans, providing training and evaluation of care provided by staff, and advocating for changes that improve client care.
• in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Team Leader-Home Support provides input on assessments, nursing diagnosis, personal and nursing care for clients in a community health setting.
• Provides nursing care within the LPN Standards of Practice as outlined by British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives and within employer policies, procedures, limits and conditions.
This is a Relief Full Time opportunity until July 25, 2027, or the return of the incumbent.
Shifts of work will be scheduled days and evenings rotating from 07:00 to 15:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 13:00 to 21:00 hours.

Qualifications
• Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses and three (3) years of recent, related acute, long-term care or community care experience including one (1) year supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current, full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Current valid BC Driver’s License.
