About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker V to join our dedicated team at Cottonwoods Care Centre in Kelowna, BC. Under the general direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and in alignment with our organization's vision and values, you will perform trades duties approaching the journeyman level across various trades such as electrical, plumbing, and painting. Your responsibilities will include constructing and finishing items like walls, doors, floors, ceilings, and windows using materials such as drywall, wood paneling, and floor coverings. Additionally, you will design, construct, and repair furniture, cabinets, desks, tables, and shelves. Your work will also involve plastering, painting, and decorating for both minor renovations and general maintenance tasks. You will supervise maintenance workers and other designated staff to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
Casual Employment with Growth Opportunities:

Qualifications
• Grade 10, plus four years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
