Rehabilitation Assistant | Community

Position Summary

Join us at Thompson Park Mall where we have an immediate permanent part-time (0.80 FTE) role. The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday with shift times are: 08:00-14:00, 08:30-14:30, and 08:30-14:45. Earn $30.96 per hour working as a qualified Rehabilitation Assistant.

Within this role the Rehabilitation Assistant:
• Is encouraged to work at top of scope.
• Engages patients with regular therapeutic interventions.
• Has a huge impact on progression of patient needs and their rehab journey.
• Is an integral member of the rehabilitation team.
• Is relied on to be the eyes and ears of the rehab team.

You will have a key role in carrying out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assisting therapists in monitoring and evaluating clients/residents’ progression.

Qualifications

Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid Driver’s License is required.
